What are your specialities/qualifications?
Bachelor of Commerce: Advertising & Marketing, Diploma of Marketing Communications, both from Curtin University, WA.
My other specialty is making a delicious crumbed lemon pepper chicken & salad!
When did you join the Spotty Team?
Following the death of family & friends to skin cancer, I co-founded Spotscreen in 2011 with Clinical Director and mother, Karen Ong. It has been really amazing to be a part of such a talented team of health professionals.
What does being a part of the Spotscreen team bring to your life?
I feel a great sense of pride and contribution from being a part of the Spotscreen family. Everyone is so dedicated to what they do and to making sure they perform the best they possibly can. When the team receives feedback that we have more than likely just saved someone’s life, it is very heartening and really makes all the hard work worth it.
Who is your favourite icon or role model?
One of my favourite icons is Jimi Hendrix. Simply because he was incredibly talented, did things his own unique way and was able to have a huge influence on music culture.
What activities do you like to do in your down time?
You’ll usually find me strumming a 6-string, playing soccer, riding my motorbike, at the beach (with sunscreen!), enjoying coffee & brunch or watching the Mighty Eagles play. I also don’t mind hitting the dance floor to some old 70’s, 80’s and 90’s beats.
