Remarkble Young Australians Share Their Cancer Stories

Clinton Heal, founder of MelanomaWA, was diagnosed with secondary melanoma at the tender age of 22. Now 30, Clinton has had 35 melanomas removed from throughout his body and continues to be a living inspiration to people suffering from melanoma across the world.

Despite recent news that another secondary melanoma has developed, Clinton is still buzzing with life and helps support those who are also facing the challenges and fears that come along with a melanoma diagnosis. You can read more about Clint’s inspirational story here.

Similarly, Christine Bellis was diagnosed with ovarian cancer at the age of 22. Although most cases of ovarian cancer are found in women over 50, Christine had to face the un-welcomed reality at a very young age. Now 2 years later she is studying to better her qualifications in childcare and also running an adult party-planning business for women called Pure Romance, which also has a mission to spread ovarian cancer awareness. You can read more about Christine’s inspirational story here.

The team at Spotscreen wish both Clinton and Christine all the best in their ongoing recoveries – stay strong and thank you for being an inspiration!
