NZ to Make Sunbeds R18+

In a push to reduce the incidence of skin cancer in New Zealand’s youth, new regulations will see sunbeds prohibited for those under the age of 18.

NZ and Australia have the highest rates of skin cancer in the world. These changes are designed to help reduce damage caused by sunbeds which produce dangerous levels of cancer causing ultraviolet radiation.
