Beard Season for Skin Cancer Awareness

Following the death of 26 year old friend Wes Bonny in 2010, Scott J Maggs began a mission to promote skin cancer detection in the community.

Scott launched a movement called Beard Season, which encourages guys to grow a beard and become an ambassador for skin cancer screening.

The aim is to talk to many people as you can and encourage them to get a skin cancer check. The beard often serves as a good conversation starter.
